Starting On My Weightloss Journey!

Welp, after weeks and weeks of either

         A. Failed Attempts (lazily tried to do it, but sneaking!)
         B. Some trash dieting (tried Low-carb, Low-sugar, Weight Watchers, etc)
         C. Freakin' LIFE (a 6 year old, a 5 months old, husband, full time job, and a dog!)

I've decided to get off it, and work it on out FOR REAL this time! I have absolutely NO reason to NOT. And I"ve decided to do it healthy. Not a quick fix, diet ish! LOL Healthier...smaller portions...better snacks!

So today, I started out with

Breakfast:
Quaker Instant Oatmeal
2 tablespoons of sugar (i know! I know! Using Stevia tomorrow!)
1 tablespoon of I Can't Believe It's Not Butter
1 cup of Vanilla soy milk.

Lunch:
Progresso Chicken Noodle Soup
A Half and Half Iced Tea
Nature Valley Almond Bar

Dinner:
Marinaded Baked Steak
Mashed Potatoes
Corn
Lipton Iced Tea

Dessert:
100 Calorie Cookie Snack Pack
1 cup of vanilla soy milk

Extra: Drank a 32oz water bottle all day! (I want to start drinking more water and less tea! Maybe just tea at dinner! Water and Lemon for lunch!)

For my exercise, I did Jillian Micheal's Yoga Meltdown, and that heffa had my body on FIRE! (Love her tho! LOL), but I loved it!! It felt really good. Was suppose to go walking tonight with my fam, but the playoffs are on, and my husband changed his mind at the last minute *eye roll* LOL.

Tomorrow he is DEFINITELY getting left! LOL

I ate pretty correct portions, and I'm definitely proud of myself with my eating! And sooooo proud of the fact, that I made it through the DVD. I got it back in Febuary...tried it...and within the first 5 minutes, I was done!

I want to try 30 Day Shred, but I'm gonna wait until I can somewhat master the Yoga DVD, before I tangle with that beast! LOL

Gonna do that everyday, and try to work out a exercise regimen. I know I want to work out 6 days a week, but need to figure out how to do it! LOL

Sooo, I'm gonna try to get pictures going on here, when I can remember! LOL But yep! Proud of myself for the day!

Dryness and Breakage: Shoulda KNOWN!

*Le Sigh*

Well, the inevitable has happened! My hair is BREAKING. About a week, before I did that TRAGIC quickweave, I dyed my hair Jet black using the Clairol. (I LOVE the jet black look) and me being 4 years post natural, should know better than to not deep condition afterwards. I just did Aussie Moist Conditioner and went on my way.

Sooo, after that and the hair weave debacle, it's no wonder my daggone hair is frickin BREAKING and its soooo dry. Ugh! It feels sooo rough and nasty. My scalp also still has a good amount of buildup on it from those weeks of being in that weave AS WELL AS glue specks...

I Just want to cut it all off!!

But I can't blame it. I did it.

So, now its time to get it back on track.

Tomorrow, is gonna be a hair-a-thon. I'm going to Sally's Beauty.

Getting As I Am Deep Intensive Moisturizing Masque and Cleanser (which I'll also be reviewing), Clairol Clear Semi-Permanent Rinse (for shine), haven't decided if I'm getting Kinky Curly Cleanser and Knot Today for a leave-in. And planning on creating a daily moisturizing spritz or something.

Also, I'm going to be washing, dyeing, and flat ironing my baby sisters hair tomorrow.

So stay tuned for that!!

Ugh...Quickweave FAIL!

Uggghhh!!!
And of course!
So yea, I tried my first Quick Weave about two weeks ago, and let me tell you! I was ROCKIN’ it! It was in a short asymettrical bob…here’s a pic…
a pretty bad one, but all I got! LOL
So I used the 30 Second Salon Pro Quick Weave Mold, over TOP of previously molded EcoStyler gel hair. Dried it…did the quick weave thing…and ended up with the horribleness that you see here.
My hair type of VERY VERY fine, and I DEFINITELY should of did a protein treatment, as well as left my edges out for this, because as you can see, I have almost virtually NO EDGES. My heart was broken…
4 years it took to grow it back, all came crashing down in two  weeks…

BUUUTTT!! Where there’s a will there’s a way!
Insert Wild Hair Growth Oil…
Ok, so after browsing through my CurlyNikki app, I came across a thread about Wild Growth Hair Oil. Read reviews…and was DEFINTELY going to get it…so today I went ahead and grabbed it up at Sally’s. Its all natural and I cant wait to try it out. I’ll take a pic every week, and in two months I’ll do comparison picks. But, I’m not starting until Wednesday, being I just did a twistout last night, and I am not taking it out! LOL
Until then, I’m going to get on…the wig train again. I’m going to get two lace front wigs, and a couple half wigs. I just want to give my hair a rest, being I felt I lost a LOT of hair from the quick weave.
Oh and I”m not knocking quick weaves or anything. It just didn’t work for me. At least the molding thing didn’t.
So here’s to new beginnings…on everything! LOL
